I spotted this gem at Princess Auto(Canadian equivalent of Harbor Freight) it had junk from floor to ceiling and as much crap that can fit on the dash. The suspension was totally bottomed out. I felt dirty just by looking at it.

I wonder how it's possible to drive that.

I don't know but it was there when I went in the store and it was gone when I came out. so obviously this fool drives it like this.

I once saw this same level of hoarding, but in a Ford Windstar. Must have had thousands of pounds of garbage in it.

It looks like it would smell...

Dunno where you are, but how is he not ticketed and towed for an obstructed view?

How the hell did it even get like that? I go mental if more than three pieces of rubbish are left in the car IN THE DOOR BIN! Never mind if they were on the floor or not (but if someone left rubbish on my floor, they would never do it again as they'd never be allowed back in the car).

Obviously the police have not seen him yet. I would impound that thing on the spot if I were in law enforcement

Absolutely disgusting. Did you see this post I made a few weeks ago?

I'm guessing this guy has at least 1500 lbs in there. I've had cars with 4 full grown big adults which would be about 1000lbs and the suspension still looked normal.

I don't even want to know what it's like in there. and think you can't put the windows down cause the stuff will fallout and the a/c vents are all blocked by the junk. it most smell horrible in there.

you would of had a full blown anxiety attack if you saw this

4 adults = 1000 lbs? Only in America...

yeah the worst it ever gets for me is a few empty pop bottles on the back floor. I clean them out once a week or so.

A buddy of mine is 6'8" and is about 350lbs. I'm 250lbs(I'm not in any way proud of that).
that's about 600lbs between me and him. that leaves 400lbs for two more people. a 200lbs full grown man is nothing unheard of.

At least they accomplished a cheap hellaflush.

Drinking is pretty much banned in my car unless it's a self sealing bottle lid like some energy drinks where you either need to squeeze the bottle or suck the end to get the contents out.
The Lucozade ones are best as they have a self seal top plus a flip lid for hygiene.

jeez 350 lbs is enough to make a car lean to one side. Your friends car must look weird when he drives.

There's this old lady around here who drives a 77 Cutlass Supreme that is filled literally to the roof with junk everywhere except the driver seat.
You can smell the car when you're approaching it.
She's got to work on it, because she's been driving it for years now, probably since the 70s or 80s.

Since pretty much all of it appears to be garbage, I suppose its safe to assume this person isn't living in the car. In which case, I would expect the house to look even worse.
I used to use my back seat as a filing cabinet in my old job, but a bunch of papers and ledgers piled up is the worst it ever got.
![]() 09/20/2014 at 19:30 |

There's a difference between some papers and a pile of crap. I'd say this verges on some sort of mental illness.

Yes, compulsive hoarding, which is on the OCD spectrum. I used to work for a guy that had it - he told his secretary that open spaces made him anxious, so his office was literally full of trash and rotting food with water damaged walls that couldn't be repaired because of all the crap in the way. After he left, most of the furniture had to be thrown out.

Oh man, that's nasty.
My grandparents are (were?) hoarders. They both grew up through the 1930's, and my grandmother was orphaned at age 13, so it's kind of understandable. At least it wasn't filth they hoarded - just food and other supplies. I guess when you've lived through one great depression, you'd want to be prepared for the next.
![]() 09/20/2014 at 19:39 |

A lot of people that grew up in the Depression turned out that way. Apparently, my great grandparents had a basement packed with canned food "just in case", so they could eat if they ever lost their jobs or savings.

Oh man, that was my grandparents to an extreme. I think they had something like four different rooms full of canned goods, and maybe 4 or 5 deep freezes full of food. They were farmers, so they grew their own food, but back in the 30's, about the only thing that grew were turnips or beets.

Damn. Max capacity in my car is 400 pounds, according to the door sticker.

that can't be right? are you driving one of these?
![]() 09/21/2014 at 00:18 |

Nope. Corvette sticker says "399 pounds" for capacity. Max gross vehicle weight is 3920 pounds.

it means if I buy one I need to get some skinnier friends.

To be fair, you're going to have to be fairly skinny to fit in the seats anyway. These be some aggressive bolstering:
